Alison's House

The house is on my regular walking route and painted from a photo. Since the photo, the house has had a color change. Maybe I will paint it again this summer when the flowers are blooming.

Virtual Paintout

My husband and I had a great time this weekend searching google maps for the Virtual Paintout. It was much harder than I thought it would be. Two wiped canvases before I ended up with this. Fun though!

Solitare

This was painted with the same light on the kitchen counter as the last one. I still like my "good" china as much as I did at wedding time.

Milk and Eggs

This was done really quickly. The light on the kitchen counter was perfect.

Zest

What can I say? The pallet is still working well. The whole time I worked on this I was thinking about the smell of citrus zest.

At The Pool

I was happy that (I think anyway) the water turned out. First painting on board and I liked it.

I was hoping to catch the "these are some big sparkles" look.

Joy's Photo

Painted from a photo taken by a friend, this is my first painting using a primary pallet which means a warm and cool red, yellow and blue. So six colors plus white and black. I liked the pallet's simplicity and the challenge of color mixing.
